Grace in Bloom
The rainbow in the background is a reminder of God’s promise of a fresh start, like the rainbow after the flood in Genesis. After the flood, God gave a sign of His covenant—His promise to never flood the earth again. The rainbow reminds us of God’s grace, His faithfulness, and how He makes all things new. I chose a white rose because it also represents new beginnings and purity—a reminder that God’s grace gives us a clean slate, purifies us, and grows in our lives as we accept His love. 🌹
The painting on the right, with the hand offering the rose, is all about God’s grace being freely given—a gift we don’t deserve and can’t earn through our own works, but He offers it to us anyway. The left painting, with the single rose in bloom, shows the fullness of that grace—how it grows and flourishes when we open our hearts to receive it. We are God’s masterpiece—His work of art, His beautiful creation. His love meets us right where we are but always leads us to where we need to go. 🤍 The love of God that saves my soul will also change my life—helping me grow, blossom, and become who He created me to be.🙌🏼
Glory be to God. 👏🏼
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
